Alan Tang is a CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduated, Realtor Institute), member of the San Francisco Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Chinese Real Estate Association of America, and Asia Real Estate Association of America. Alan has received Salesmasters awards from Realty World, and is also a California Notary Public.

Born in Hong Kong, Alan and his entire family moved to San Francisco on March 15, 1986. Since then, he has been a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. He went to school at Herbert Hoover Middle School, Abraham Lincoln High School, University of California, Davis, and San Francisco State University of California.

Alan lives happily with his wife Maggie and their cat Charcoal in Millbrae, CA.

Currently, 1 in 8 mortgages are in default.  The reality is that people need help.  Alan understands this and has received his designation as a Certified Distressed Property Expert so he can better help those who are behind on their mortgages and don't know what to do.

As a Certified Residential Specialist, Alan's expertise is in residential real estate as well as mortgage counseling. His past transactions includes listing and purchases of single family homes, multiple units, condominiums, as well as rentals.

Since he's a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, he's very familiar with the area. Currently he's farming in Millbrae's Highlands District, which is also where he resides.
